Hey y'all. We are in the last 30ish days of 2022, can you believe it? As my stepdad says "Goohhtamighty nah!" Lol
I don't have anything heavy to lay on y'all today. I just want to give a few gentle reminders since the holidays is typically when you're dealing with family (those who like to trigger you) and perhaps some feelings that may feel harder to get through during this time of year.
It's okay to decline an invitation.
Drive your own car so you can slide out when it gets uncomfortable.
We here for a good time not a long time so, đđ˝clap đđ˝back! Don't let the messy ones say what they want and get away with it.
Watch your babies round them "cousins" and "uncles/aunties" that come as folks +1 (hell the regular ones too).
Come with good intentions. Come in peace but protect yours!
Pray and ask for strength and discernment.
I think I covered the basics for dealing with family, since curturally we are...different lol
